Each week, one wine will be presented by its respective winemaker or proprietor in a fun and interactive tutorial.

American Burgundy: Californian Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Class takes place each Friday night at 7:00pm starting July 31st  

WEEK #1

Featured Wine: 2014 Cattleya 'Cuvee Number One' Pinot Noir. Russian River, Sonoma, CA

Guest Speaker: Bibiana Gonzalez Rave-Pisoni, Wine Maker & Proprietor, Cattleya Wines.  

WEEK #2

Featured Wine: 2015 Lucia by Pisoni 'Soberanes' Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands, CA

Guest Speaker: Jeff Pisoni, Wine Maker & Proprietor, Pisoni Family Vineyards

WEEK #3

Featured Wine: 2016 Emeritus 'Hallberg Ranch' Pinot Noir, Russian River, Sonoma, CA

Guest Speaker: Mari Jones, Proprietor, Emeritus Vineyards

This series will be priced at $295/series and include 3 bottles of wine, complimentary delivery (within 30 miles of Vertical Detroit) and 60 minute online tutorial each week on Zoom with Brandon McKay, Certified Sommelier at Vertical Detroit, Remy Lutfy, Proprietor of Vertical Detroit and the week's featured pinot noir. If a guest lives outside of the 30 mile radius, they can pay a $30 shipping charge to receive wines before the start of the series.

Wines featured in the series will be available at a discounted rate to all Virtual Wine School attendees for the duration of the series. If a guest purchases 12 bottles or more, they will receive an additional 10% off their purchase!
